Best acceptance speech

Acceptance speeches are an art-form. Some are awful; most are unmemorable. But the best acceptance speech I've ever heard is here. This clip from 2002 runs seven minutes and is well worth your time.

It offers eloquence, gravitas, humility, generosity, poise without stiffness, and awareness of the significance of the moment. Look at the eyes of the audience -- not people who are easily swayed.

Of course the recipient is fully deserving of the award, but Denzel Washington says so far better than I can.
